Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you provide?
Here at Kande, we pride ourselves in being able to offer you corporate/temporary housing services, insurance housing options, furniture package leasing options, and some local management services.
What is insurance housing?
Sometimes, the worst can happen to your home. Typically, your home owner’s insurance can step in and pay for temporary accommodations. Kande will work with you, and your insurance company to find the best temporary accommodation for you and your family.
How long can I stay?
You can stay as long as you like. We’d love to have you! Please know that our minimum stay, is for at least 30 nights.
How do I give a notice/Intent to vacate?
For all of our services, we require a written notice. Typically an email to a Kande representative stating your intention to vacate on a specific date is enough.
Do I Need Renter's Insurance?
As a general rule, you should always seek to protect your items. Here at Kande, we suggest that you carry renter’s insurance. The low cost, and the added protection make it a worthwhile option.
What kind of fees and charges are there?
Damages: Generally, we expect our apartments and homes to be left in the same state as they were prior to your arrival. Naturally, should there be damages to the apartment/home and any of the items within, we will have to charge for those damages.
Pet Fees: We love our animals, we do accept certain pets, however, this varies by location. And not all locations accept pets. Fees vary by location.
Administrative Fees: This also varies by location. This can be background checks, credit checks, and other fees.
What is Corporate/Temporary housing?
Corporate housing, as it’s traditionally known is a form of temporary accommodation that provides you a fully furnished, fully equipped apartment/home. This is typically a much more comfortable option than staying in a hotel, as well as a better managed option than your typical Airbnb. It takes the best of both options and combines them into one.
What is included in your furnished apartments?
All our apartments are fully furnished and fully equipped. This means you’ll have everything you need to cook and serve a meal in the kitchen. Towels, bed linens, utilities, and even electronics like a TV in the living room, and master bedroom are included.
How am I billed for my apartment?
Our rates are nightly. We typically bill on a monthly basis. We can bill for longer if that is your request, or per a specified commitment.
how do i check in and check out?
Once your stay is booked, we’ll send you all the information you’ll need. Just head straight to your apartment/home after 4PM.
If you’ve already submitted your notice to vacate, then check out time is by no later than 10AM.
What is your furniture leasing package?
Do you have an apartment/home but need to furnish it? Kande can help. We can provide everything from your bath towels, to the pots and pans in the kitchen. A minimum length term is required. Call us to discuss options.
